Everyone who uses a Meta Quest headset should have their own Meta account that’s meant for their age. Meta requires that children ages 10-12 (age may vary by region) use a Parent Managed Account (PMA)

PMAs allow parents to customize their child’s experience, block certain games, restrict purchases, set time limits, and more.

Important: We will never ask you for your age, personal information, or payment methods. However, you will be banned if you tell people you are under the age of 10, even as a joke. This is due to Meta’s age restriction policy.

Yeeps: Hide and Seek offers in-app purchases for in-game currency. However, all in-game content and gameplay features are available without in-app purchases, aside from occasional cosmetic bundles. Players can also earn in-game currency simply by playing Yeeps.

Meta does NOT allow refund of in-app purchases, which is stated in their official policy.

For your safety, we recommend adding a PIN to your account to prevent unauthorized purchases.

When your Meta friends are online, signposts will appear to help you meet up! Follow them to join their lobbies automatically.

You can also start a private session using either Private Worlds or a Public World Code.

Private Worlds are a safe space for just you (and optionally your Meta friends). Here, you can build and play on your own maps whenever you want!

You can find your Private World by going to the purple portal North of the Blue House map.

Yeeps is an open-ended, social game where we expect that you:

• Have fun, share items, and make friends
• Build pillow forts and destroy them
• Be kind and make sure everyone is enjoying the game
• Report players who break the rules

We take moderation seriously, and leverage a combination of in-game tools and a responsive moderation team to keep our community safe.

In-game, players can report or mute problematic players in the short term, and there are dozens of in-game moderators checking up on the community.

We also work with ToxMod, a proactive voice moderation tool that helps report offensive behavior, bullying, and toxicity. You can learn more about ToxMod here.

Breaking our Community Guidelines will result in a temporary suspension from online multiplayer, though continued violations may result in a permanent suspension. However even while suspended, you will never lose access to any purchased items or built maps, unless you are suspended for modding.
